The fall blooming "Japanese" anemones are the star of the autumn perennial border. Opinions on hardiness vary, but mine have always done well, even in Northern Vermont. 'Honorine Jobert' is a classic fall blooming white with single to semi-double flowers that are just begging to be used in autumn wedding designs.
