
Viola Hermit Crab
Coenobita violascens Violas start with colors ranging from reds, oranges and browns. Eventually, as they get older and mature, they gain a beautiful violet to purple coloration. They are very active and amazing hermit crabs. *We like all customers to be happy, so if you have a preference on their color, please email us. We will take the time to take a picture of each crab in stock, so you can pick which one you want.* At the time of purchase, there is a possibility the crabs may be molting. We will email you if that is the case, and we can work out what to do next. Care: Lifespan: Hermit Crabs can live up to 40 years old but have an average lifespan of 10-20 years. They live a long time if given proper care and housing as they grow. Temperature: 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit, that is kept heated by heat pads on the side of the tank.
