Pair of Mossy Leaf-Tailed Geckos (Uroplatus sikorae)
This beautiful pair of Mossy Leaf-Tailed Geckos (Uroplatus sikorae) have been in our care for 2 months. An 18x18x36 planted vivarium is a perfect size for this pair. Be sure to to give them vines and branches to climb. They need UVB and we provide a low wattage basking spot aimed towards the top of a branch in case they need to get warm. Mist their enclosure before lights go on and after lights go off. This allows the geckos to wake up and be able to drink the mist. Water should also be supplied with clean dishes on a feeding ledge that are cleaned and refilled daily. Make sure to feed insects every other day. Also make sure to dust insects with calcium supplements. However, it is fine to miss a dusting every once in awhile. Handling should only be when necessary, as these geckos get stressed easily.
