Coenobita brevimanus Indonesian hermit crabs are the second largest of the land hermit crab species, right behind the coconut crab. They have an extremely large pincher and round black eyes. Colors range generally between pink-purple or brownish-tan. *We like all customers to be happy, so if you have a preference on their color, please email us. We will take the time to take a picture of each crab in stock, so you can pick which one you want.*   At the time of purchase, there is a possibility the crabs may be molting. We will email you if that is the case, and we can work out what to do next. Care: Lifespan: Hermit Crabs can live up to 40 years old but have an average lifespan of 10-20 years. They live a long time if given proper care and housing as they grow. Temperature: 80-85 degrees Fahrenheit, that is kept heated by heat pads on the side of the tank.
