In Minnesota, EFN co-founder Dusty Hinz is observing far more frequent periods of extreme heat and drought in the Twin Cities, and we wanted to have a prairie mix available that can survive these conditions. The native perennial flower species are such vital habitat. These are prairie plants, so they should have a good chance at survival in most of the temperate US, and even places further south. Our seed was produced by Shooting Star Native Seeds in Spring Grove, MN. GR
