Guys, I don't always love sports, but I freakin' LOVE mascots. I have been toying with the idea of making a Phillie Phanatic shirt for a long time- he's a Philadelphia institution! Well, after the Phils' historic playoff run in 2022, the timing was right to make a shirt happen. You all loved "Gritty Kong" so much, I couldn't leave the Phillie Phanatic out of the fun! I wish I had more of a story behind this concept, but really I just thought it would be funny to illustrate our city's craziest mascots as a King Kong chillin' with Billy Penn on the top of Philadelphia's City Hall. Sometimes inspiration manifests in the strangest of ways! This design started as a sticker, but now it's a t-shirt with one small modification- the Phanatic's hand is showing that Philadelphia is NUMBER ONE, BAYBEE!
