This economy bar is Troy Barbell's most affordable Olympic bar. It offers an attractive chrome finish and a 30 mm diameter grip. It features a fairly aggressive knurl pattern for added grip, plus, has a center knurl. It measures 86" in length offers a 500 lb static test. This entry level economy Olympic bar uses a bolted sleeve assembly to help keep production cost down. Simply put, this Troy USA Sports Olympic Bar is designed to cut cost. If you are in need of an affordable Olympic bar for primarily home use general fitness needs, this bar is for you. However, with lower cost come reductions in quality. The chrome finish will not be as durable as more expensive chrome bars, plus, routine sleeve bolt tightening will be required over time.
