Black Satin - Dahlia Tuber

This variety is: BLACK SATIN.As close to black as a dahlia can get, with deep red undertones when held up to the light. It has 4-inch ball-type blooms with long stems that fit well in vases. It produces great cut flowers for arrangements. I love to combine Black Satin with brightly colored varieties (like "Fire Magic") in bouquets. The plants can reach about 4 feet in height, and are quite dense. Blooms mid-summer through fall.   My name's Eve, and I am a dahlia farmer and college student in Battle Ground, WA.
