Importance: Reverend John Parker Emerson (November 20, 1745-June 26, 1826) was born in Malden, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Joseph Emerson (1700-1767) and Mary Moody (1702-1799). He was called to work in the ministery at Conway shortly before marrying Sabra Cobb on September 25, 1770.
