Importance: Reverend Joel Foster (1755-1812) was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 1777 he graduated from Dartmouth College, and in 1779 he was Ordained in New-Salem. Reverend Joel Foster was the father and Priscilla Foster (1756-1803) was the mother of Nathan Lanesford Foster (1787-1860), a traveling book agent. Binding: Disbound Octavo Pamphlet.
