This 4-Day workshop will be held at ESSDACK on the following dates:Monday, June 17, 2024Tuesday, June 18, 2024Wednesday, June 19, 2024Thursday, June 20, 20248:30-3:30 This four-day workshop will help teachers understand foundational information in order to implement effective strategies to serve the English Language Learner. Participants will leave with experiences in the following areas:o Linguistics of the English Languageo Theories of Language Acquisitiono Instructional Theory and Teaching Techniqueso Student Engagement and Managemento Assessmentso Cultural Understandingo Legal and Ethical Issues Title III funds can be used on this workshop series. Information gained from this four-day workshop series will assist participants in the preparation for the ESL Praxis. Materials are included in the workshop price.
