There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12 NKJV It is God’s desire that we choose His way instead of choosing to lean on our own understanding. As instructed in Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV, we are to: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. In order to know what’s acceptable in God’s eyesight, we must take time to know Him and to know His ways, which cannot be done without consistent Bible-reading. The Bible is God’s sacred, Holy Word, which you’ve probably heard described as “basic instructions before leaving earth.” It contains everything that a Christian (believer in Jesus Christ) needs to know about God’s will, His laws, His character, and salvation. The Bible also mentions sins such as (but not limited to) unforgiveness, slothfulness, jealousy, murder, theft, sexual immorality, and blasphemy but…what does the Bible say about pride? In
