The Solinst Sonic Water Level Meter is a simple-to-use, handheld, portable unit. It consists of a Control Unit, Probe with 1.8m (6ft) cable, a plastic cover for larger wells and a Field Bag. Readings are shown on the clear LCD display on the Controller. The probe transmits a sound wave into the pipe or well and measures the time for the pulse to return after contacting the water. The Control Unit allows the programming of parameters like offsets, well obstructions. temperature, etc, to obtain the most accurate water level readings possible for a variety of well installations.
