Encapsulated Bee silver necklace

The Bug Collection There are not many creatures in nature who are essential to the survival of our species and agriculture, but bees are. With so many diminishing bee populations, what better way to celebrate their vital role in our ecosystem than a beautiful necklace that is bound to spark questions. Dying bees outside my studio a few years ago inspired the entire Encapsulated Series. Perhaps the bees had just reached the end of their short lives, but I was struck by the intricate beauty of the bees scattered around under a Vitex tree.
