      The Calendar Poster leverages and reinforces what children have learned through the books; Emma and Egor Learn Numbers 123, What Day is It? and What is the Weather Like Today?  The calendar activity can be used every day at “calendar” time, whether in the classroom or at home.  We suggest that you begin with the numbers for the dates on the calendar and progress to the signed numbers once you are familiar with the signs. You can set up the full calendar or if you prefer, you can add the numbers each day. The Emma and Egor Calendar Poster can be hung on the wall or bulletin board and many classrooms leave the calendar up year round as Calendar Time is practiced every day. All of the sections on the calendar are modifiable except for the days of the week which begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday.
