Grandma’s Flowers

Original Prismacolor pencil of a flower study on handmade deckled edge paper (4” by 6.1”). Artist signature on the front. This is a small flower study I completed this summer. I was inspired by the flower fabric on one of my vintage chairs, and decided to create a monochromatic drawing of these flowers. The singular color scheme helped me focus on strengthening the values and textures of the composition. I really love the textured paper, as well as the details on such a small piece of paper.  There are no known cosmetic flaws on this piece.  I placed this drawing in the "Imperfect Art" collection because it was an incredibly quick drawing, flowing fully from inspiration from my vintage chair, taking me only about 30 minutes, so I wanted the price to be affordable! The paper paired with the color scheme and minute details makes for a truly lovely flower study.  All sales final.
