Exit Sign Steel Red LED White Housing with Battery Backup Overview The White Steel LED Exit Sign with Red Letters features a heavy-duty 20 gauge welded steel enclosure with a white finish. Available in 6" letters with 3/4" stroke or 8" letters with a 1" stroke, high intensity LEDs provide a constant uniform, red or green, illumination. Attractive and easy to install, this series of exit signs offers only high quality LED illumination and internal electronics encased in a durable steel housing. Making the VEX-S Series ideal for any commercial, institutional, or industrial application. FEATURES Dual 120/277 voltage. Charge rate/power “ON” LED indicator light and push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing. Mounting canopy included for top or end mount. Universal knockout pattern on back plate for wall mount. Durable, powder-coated 20-gauge steel construction inwhite or black finish. Unique design allows double face conversion in the field. Field selectable steel knockout Chevron directionalindicators. ILLUMINATION Dual 120/277 voltage. Charge rate/power “ON” LED indicator light and push-to-test switch for mandated code compliance testing. 4.8V long life, maintenance-free, rechargeable NiCd battery (EM models only). Internal solid-state transfer switch automatically connects the internal battery to LED board for minimum 90-minute emergency illumination. Fully automatic solid-state, two rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours. MOUNTING Mounting canopy included for top or end mount.
