Overview The Edge Lit Exit Sign is an attractive fixture that does not have the bulky design of traditional exit signs. It uses modern materials and a streamlined design for a low profile look that integrates into many commercial applications. It features a high-grade acrylic panel and screen-printed "EXIT" text that is displayed in either red or green. The aluminum housing that contains the LED light source and battery backup system is durable and built to last. Edge Lit Exit Signs is designed for surface mounting applications. It can be installed by the top, side, or back of the sign with included mounting plate for a variety of orientations and applications. This fixture uses energy efficient LED lights that consume less than five watts of electricity at all times. The included nickel-cadmium battery battery will power the Edge Lit Exit Sign for 90 minutes in the case of AC power failure.
