Overview The EPEL Series Class 1 Division 1 hazardous location emergency lighting fixture is made for the roughest conditions imaginable. They are specifically made for industrial locations in close proximity to volatile gases and vapors often found in power plants, aircraft refueling areas and oil refineries. The EPEL is built with the strongest materials available and is hermetically sealed to prevent the intrusion of gas which could potentially be explosive. This series of lights are equipped with two powerful MR 16 halogen lamps to provide brilliant, directional light during emergency situations. Their copper-free cast aluminum construction can withstand high temperature fires and explosions and continue running for at least 90 minutes.
