1989 Fleer Baseball Error Boxes BBCE FASC CODE (90171)

These boxes are error boxes where you will find an opportunity to pull a Bill Ripken FF Bat card! The cool thing about these boxes is that I owned the full case, sent it to BBCE (Baseball Card Exchange) to authenticate it was factory sealed. They did that and then opened the case, individually sealing each box. This allows the buyer to have a true and honest shot at all the key cards in the box knowing this is exactly how it came from the factory! This is one of the last codes known to have the errors and they caught the issue and corrected right around this time. The "9" indicates 1989 and the next three digits are the day of the year so 017 = January 17th.
