By opening up the intake side, you are allowing the supercharger to work much more efficiently and ultimately produce more power. For customers looking for a more aggressive sound, this intake will also greatly enhance the supercharger "whine". This intake also separates itself from competitors by using a billet bracket to relocate the secondary injection filter. While others will use zip ties or zap straps, the included billet bracket ensures a clean looking engine bay. The included heat shield serves to ensure that cool outside air enters the intake.
