‘Wind dancing and sun bathing. Mother Mountain alive with morning alpenglow. Inspired by the pulse and color of life's essence.’ When this painting was coming to life, I kept thinking, “wow… this is the feeling of elation, inspiration, and awe.” A painting to inspire a deep appreciation for Earth’s majesty. Sopris. A mountain that has endured and changed with time. Dedication to presence, perseverance. Power. A witness to countless sunsets and sunrises… seasons… wild weather… a perpetual sculpture of water and wind.
