Ups and Downs

Looking through old family photos, the ups and downs of decades of fashion are clear and evident. (We'd personally like to hide all albums from the early 90s in a dark closet.) But hopefully when you look back on this year's pics, you'll be pleased with what you see. An extra-large (and extra-fab) vintage compact by Stratton shows off a black and white zig-zag patterned lid and opens to reveal the original powder puff and mirror inside (just in case you need a touchup before the camera comes out!)  Two strands of polished black obsidian fluttering flat nuggets are freely strung for an effortless styling, while a gold plated toggle ties it all together at the back.  Now smile pretty! Measures 18" overall.
