Stohlman Coyote: Figure and Pictorial Carving with Jim Linnell
About This Video August 15th, 2020 marked what would have been the 101th birthday of the legendary leatherworker Al Stohlman. To honor his birthday, Jim Linnell resurfaced an out-of-print Stohlman pattern of a Coyote and added background scenery to create a class that features both figure carving and pictorial carving. Moderated by Annie Libertini, this class is not only a leatherworking tutorial, but also features a number of insights, stories, and memories shared about the Stohlmans.
