RKI Underbody Truck Box 24x18x18 H-Series Aluminum Model # H241818A .100 bright diamond treadplate aluminum construction. Horizontally hinged doors are constructed of .100 bright diamond treadplate aluminum with an inner stiffener of .080 smooth aluminum. Welds are full arc welds, no spot welds. Door is attached to the hull of the box with stainless steel pillow block type hinges with self-lubricating bushings and 5/16” stainless steel hinge pins. Hinges are riveted to the box. Door is held in the open position with heavy-duty machine chains. Chains are easily detachable to drop door down to 180°. Top panel of the box forms a drip rail over the door. A full size, stainless steel paddle handle rotary latch is recessed into the door of the box. Two keys are furnished per box. Doors can be closed with the latch in the locked position. Ribbed D-Bulb seal is installed in a recessed channel that runs the full perimeter of the door opening. Door has a formed knife edge on all 4 sides that co
