Artist: Yoshida Hiroshi (1876-1950) 吉田博 Title:  Bamboo Wood 竹林 Date: 1939 Nestled within a protective grove of giant bamboo in Saitama Prefecture, we see a hen and chicks looking very much at home. There are many shades of green given to the bamboo stalks. Glimpsed in the background is the outline of a small structure, most likely a stone shrine.  Condition: Excellent impression, color and condition. .
