Artist: Masamoto Mori (1912-?)Title: Spring Snow in Kiba 木場の春雪 Date: 1955 Bare willow branches hang down in front of this view of Fukugawa Lumber yards along the canal in Kiba. Large logs are tied up in rafts in the canal, and snowflakes are falling in crescent shapes. Hiroshige created a very famous snow scene of Fukugawa Lumber Yards, also in snow, in his “One Hundred Famous Views of Edo” series. Scarce design by an artist about whom little is known.
