He holds a large sword in his left hand and curls his right hand up in angst, perhaps holding a mie pose. This work can create a diptych with a surimono of Iwai Hanshiro V. Beautifully printed, with embossed patterns on all of the white areas. Surimono by Kunisada are very scarce. Condition: Very good impression, good color and condition. Unbacked.
