The kitchen table. It's so important. It's where meals are served, homework, is done, news is shared, and important decisions are made...and if you're like my little sister was, it's where you spend hours alone, staring at your peas. A good, sturdy table is the centerpiece of any great home, and this one would be perfect whether you have a beach house, farmhouse, industrial loft, or would simply like to add a little rustic character. I had been meaning to build a farm table for quite a while, so the design was a long time in development. It was important to me that I create something simple, functional, and solid, so it's handcrafted from high-quality, milled, kiln-dried pine, then carefully and intentionally distressed and colored using a custom layered finishing process.
