It has a recessed design that accommodates 1 in. drywall. It comes with a pre-installed support bracket, a faceplate cover and 1/4 in. turn hot and cold ball valves for shut-off during maintenance, the valves include hammer arrestors that prevent pipes from shaking and pounding. This washing machine outlet box has a 1/2 in. Crimp PEX inlet connection and a 3/4 in. male hose thread outlet. It is designed for residential applications.
