Pensee LED Table Lamp by Chen, Chao Cheng for Seed Design
Bring a sculptural simplicity to your inside living spaces with the refined lines and simple shape of the Pensee LED Table Lamp from Seed Design. Controlled by a “DJ dimmer,†it rises from an inverted disc base, extending a slender steel stem to bright and energy-friendly lamping seated beneath a dome shade of hand-blown opal glass. This gauzy layer decreases glare from the lamping, transforming it into a warm, encompassing ambiance that enhances its surroundings. Starting from pure ambition and passion, Chao-Cheng decided shortly after receiving a degree in Engineering that his heart just wasn’t in it. After noticing that the values of design and patents were not appreciated or respected, Chao-Chen wanted to show the world that Taiwan can create original designs and compete with the rest of the world in creativity and innovation.
