Description Shenandoah Reclaimed Hardwood Flooring Our Shenandoah Blend: An diverse blend of reclaimed woods, this floor makes for a very interesting talking point. It is milled from a mix of Ash, Birch, Beech, Elm, Hickory, Maple, Oak, Locust, Cherry, and Walnut. Sometimes when you salvage a barn or whole warehouse, you will discover one of these beams mixed among Oak or Heart Pine timbers. Since most of these species aren’t available all by themselves, they work great for an organic mix where anything goes. We offer this material in milled and distressed grades. When milling this floor, Shanenandoah takes the utmost care to preserve the weathered patina and characteristics left in the original face of the barn siding or structural material. Expect to see colorful heartwood, large knots, nail holes, dents and dings, and of course the rich patina in our flooring.
