The Arista Networks Compatible 0.5m (2ft) CAB-Q-Q-100G-0.5M 100G QSFP28 Passive DAC provides a cost-effective way to establish a 100-Gigabit link between QSFP-100G ports of switches within racks and across adjacent racks. This Direct Attach Copper is compliant with IEEE 802.3, SFF-8665, QSFP28 MSA and InfiniBand HDR standards. The DAC cable is comprised of a Twinax copper cable terminated with QSFP28 form factor modules on both ends. The 100G DAC cable has the advantage of convenient installation since the structure of modules is permanently attached to each end. This makes it an ideal solution for short-distance transmission applications.
