Mexican Felt Calaverita Large

These beautiful "calaveritas" are handcrafted products made by artisan communities in Chiapas, Mexico. Each figure is distinctive and unique, they come in a different combination of vibrant colors and sizes. Made out of felt wool.  Artisans make their own fabric from scratch by pedal looming sheep-wool. The wool is then woven into fabric, cut into shape, hand-sewn all together and stuffed with wool. Finally, it's accessorized with beautiful embroidery and colorful yarn. Measurements6.5" tall
