Mullein Extract (Wildcrafted)
Mullein also known as Verbascum thapsus is a member of the Scrophulariaceae family and is native to the Mediterranean, North Africa, parts of Asia & is now naturalized in North America. Mullein has a long history (several thousands of years) of creative uses and folklore, one example being when the Romans would dip the long reeds into Tallow to make them into torches to travel by night. Another use is when the seeds are dry they can be crushed & sprinkled on water to catch fish, it acts as a paralytic. Not legal however. Mullein, with its beautiful bright yellow blossoms, has been used for its bountiful benefits for at least around 2,000 years. This herb has a special complex for the respiratory system and is regarded for its expectorant and demulcent qualities. Its energetic actions also include cooling, drying & moistening.
