Both the waist and length are adjustable. Waist is adjustable via a four grommet lace adjustment in the back of the belt. This can tighten the belt by four inches or loosen the belt indefinitely.  Length is adjustable by trimming - these chaps have a raw leather end so the excess length can simply be cut off with a sharp pair of scissors.  Thigh should be measured at the widest most point. For most people that is at the very top of thigh, just below the groin. Chaps stretch quite a bit so you want a snug f
