Half the weight of braided stainless & zero risk of cutting your hands while working with hose. The Kevlar strands make Startlite extremely tough, almost as tough as braided stainless. Have run hot coolant through the -20, hot 100 psi racing oil through -6 to -12, pump gas, E85, & highly oxygenated racing fuels through -6 to -10 hoses & never experience a failure in the hose or significant expansion.
