The main feature of this piece is the visual fluidity of motion created by the meandering bands of fused pieces of colored glass along the top and bottom edge and uncolored pieces of glass along the middle. A crescent-shaped horizontal sconce. Light shines through openings at the top, the bottom and illuminates the textured ebb-and-flow design. Handmade to A19s exacting standards, using a kiln-fired ceramic base and recycled window glass from local sources.
