A ruyi, meaning 'as desired' in Chinese, embodies both ceremonial significance in Chinese Buddhism and symbolizes good fortune in folklore. The table showcases one elm slab naturally aged wooden top and robust construction, adorned with delightful patinas, age-appropriate dents, and graceful signs of wear and tear.  Its remarkable presence makes it a striking Asian console table, perfectly suited for a large living room, dining area, hallway, or entryway.
