With a design that extends beyond the face of the lamp, longer bulbs are contained within the fixture for a secure fit. Moreover, the polished aluminum surface inside the dome enhances UVB and UVA output, providing superior performance compared to domes with interior white surfaces. Ectothermic reptiles rely on external sources such as the sun for warmth, as they are unable to produce their own body heat. They utilize this heat energy to maintain their bodily functions, digest food and stay healthy.
