Due to sourcing issues, Standard Process has secured a new supplier for the grape extract in OPC Synergy®. This new source comes from the wine-making process in France and contains added sulfites. Where do sulfites come from? Small amounts of sulfites are naturally occurring in some foods including apples, rice, onions, and cabbage.1 They are also used as a food additive to increase shelf-life or to halt fermentation. Why are sulfites listed on the label of OPC Synergy®? Some individuals can be sensitive to sulfites, resulting in reaction
