Sculpt Nouveau Smart Coat is an exceptional, ready-to-use, water based clear coat for all metals. It is ideal for interior projects that require a tarnish resistant protective coating with no solvent odors. Smart Coat air dries and cures quickly (48-72 hours after final application). It is auto-leveling and orange peel is virtually nonexistent. Smart Coat is terrific over polished metal, rust and other patina finishes. Unlike solvent clear coats, it does not tend to change the color of a patina finish. Clean up is easy with water.
