Custom Themed Checkers Board

Each board is made to order from scratch! Each square is made of 1/8in thick Solid walnut and white oak and hand laid on to two joined pieces of Basswood that are stained and sealed. Once the squares are seated in place the board is then hand sanded to a fine surface and very thin coat of Danish old is then added to seal and protect the board.  Finally your choice of laser engraved boarders of Mahogany is attached in two pieces the whole board is sanded and sealed again.  Finally a bottom holding box is made from hand joined and stained basswood.  Each board comes with laser cut checker pieces. Red is made from basswood hand stained red and the black checkers are made from dark stained walnut.   This is one piece we at DMSC Designs are supremely proud of.
