Review an overview of the profession, with the focus on the percentage of male patients vs. female caregivers in the field. Examine the facts about the epidemiology of addiction and men; discuss the biological aspects of men and substance use and abuse. Discuss the implications of these issues for treatment of men for chemical dependency disorders.
