Airstream Skylight or Marine Hatch Adapter

Patent Pending. These adapters solve a unique problem related to fitting a skylight or marine hatch on an Airstream trailer or motorhome. The roof of the Airstream is curved and the skylight or hatch flange is designed to mount and seal against a flat surface. Curvature of the roof can cause leaks and induce uneven stress in the roof which may cause it to deform.  Deformation of the roof can cause water to pool along the front and back of the vent which can cause leaks. The adapter is curved on one side the match the roof and flat on the top to accommodate the flat flange. The adapter adds thickness so screws will hold better than in the thin aluminum. Each adapter is made specific to the opening and flange size of the skylight or hatch and to the roof curvature.
