Airstream Air Conditioner Adapter

Patent Pending. These adapters solve a unique problem related to fitting or replacing the air conditioner on an Airstream trailer or motorhome. The roof of the Airstream is curved and the air conditioner is designed to seal against a flat surface. Curvature of the roof can cause leaks and induce uneven stress in the roof which may cause it to deform.  Deformation of the roof can cause water to pool along the front and back of the AC seal which can cause leaks. The adapter is curved on one side the match the roof and flat on the top to accommodate the foam seal of the air conditioner.  The adapter also spreads out the weight of the AC over a larger area reducing stress on the roof. Each adapter is made to fit a specific roof curvature. Upon ordering we will reach out with instructions on how to easily measure the curvature of the roof.
