Kendrick, ID: Kendrick Gazette Print, 1917. [80]pp. Side-stapled in illustrated yapped wrappers. Unfortunate damp stain affecting the spine and front cover; light spotting to textblock edges. Contents clean and unmarked; altogether very good. A collection of cowboy poems suffused with the open-range nostalgia then very much in vogue among Western writers; apparently the only book published by William Cyrus Jacks (1871-1964), a farm owner and educator who taught at various schools, including the Lewiston State Normal school (the original designation of what is now Lewis-Clark State College). OCLC locates six holdings; scarce in the trade.
