Two Pole Accessory - Inline Dummy Plug

Part: 2P–IL–D A very clean two pole wetmatable underwater electrical connector with only one extended pin. This design has been used for years and is simple and reliable. It has the advantage of no blind holes so when mating the contacts, they are wiped clean and any debris is pushed out of the connector.   Ideal for underwater connector applications that simply require two poles.   This dummy plug can be fitted to any connector and protects it from the environment. These connectors should never be left exposed to water with any electrical charge across the contacts as corrosion can rapidly destroy the contacts. Using a dummy plug will prevent this.
