
Brazil | Santa Maria Fermented Natural
We are thrilled to present our latest coffee from Brazil, a direct-trade partnership with UP22 Cafés and the farm Cafe Santa Maria! This coffee was fermented before being naturally processed, giving it an extra burst of sweetness and balanced fruitiness. That said, if the idea of fruit in your coffee is not your default preference, we still recommend giving this one a try! It's not fruity like our Ethiopia or Nicaragua coffees—rather more of a subtle hint rounded out by a very familiar Brazilian profile. Lots of caramel, molasses, and honey with a nice nuttiness as the cup cools. We've loved it especially for filter coffee—but it's delicious and very forgiving on espresso too! For those who loved the previous Brazilian coffee, we can assure you this one is just as good with absolutely no compromises. We have found it to be pleasant in all brewing methods, and it has even found a spot in both our House & Espresso blends. Marina, director of UP22 Cafés, has the following to say of
