DIF Steering Rack Bushing Replacement FR-S BRZ The factory steering feel of the FR-S/BRZ is severely lacking in feedback and accuracy. The factory bushings are made out of soft soft rubber which allows the rack to flex under load. In addition, the bolt holding the bushing in place is smaller than the actual material surrounding it causing even more play. The DIF Steering Rack Bushing Replacement aims to cure that problem. The DIF Steering Rack Bushings consist of a CNC manchined aluminum collar and durable Delrin jackets that encompass the aluminum collar. When both pieces are assembled there is no negative space between the bolt, collar, and the delrin jackets making an almost solid piece which eliminates play in the steering rack. The design also has SCCA racers in mind; since there is no added metal to the bushing it is legal within Street Touring class rules in which other aftermarket bushing do not comply.
